The Homewood Research Institute (HRI) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to transforming mental health and addiction treatment through research. We partner with leading scientists, universities, patients, and clinicians to improve care, service and outcomes. HRI is inviting public safety personnel to participate in a research study examining a new approach to reducing cognitive difficulties in everyday functioning. Goal Management Training (GMT) aims to improve difficulties that individuals with PTSD often experience in many parts of cognitive functioning including memory, attention, and learning. Our study invites public safety personnel throughout Ontario to participate in 9 weeks of free group therapy sessions online. If you are interested in participating, please contact Heather Millman, Project Coordinator, 519-824-1010 ext.32180, HMillman@Homewoodhealth.com.
